9th August 1925 - War Memorial unveiled in Lodge Rooms after a Divine Service in the Parish Church. Memorial was unveiled by Dr A E Kidd PM which listed the following names:- James Alexander, James Carnie, George Mitchell Hunter, David Bissett Ramsay & George Street. At next Lodge meeting it was intimated that the name of John P Muckart had been omitted from the Memorial and that this name would be added.

Husband of Martha Ramsay of Castleton, Auchterader. Death Minuted 14/01/1919 on HMY lolaire which struck off Stornaway killing 201 of the 283 on board (crew and returning sailors). On list of those lost has address given as Auchterarder.
